In my newsletter, For Moms With Minis, I share free activity printables designed for kids aged 2-5. These fun activities help little ones practice colors, numbers, letters, fine motor skills, and more. Don’t worry if your child can’t do everything just yet—each activity is designed with different levels of difficulty in mind. The key is to have fun, be patient, and enjoy the time spent together. Every bit of practice counts, and I’m here to support you along the way!

This cheerful penguin puzzle is a hands-on activity that combines creativity, fine motor practice, and problem-solving all in one! Kids will cut out the pieces and work to reassemble the picture of a cozy penguin bundled up in a colorful scarf.
As they fit each piece into place, little learners strengthen spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination — essential early learning skills. This activity is great for quiet playtime or a fun classroom center!
To make the puzzle easier to put together, you can glue the paper onto a piece of cardboard before cutting out the pieces.
